OUR ROOTS

Valerie Bures-Bön­ström (CEO) is a co-founder of Mrs.Sporty, a Europe-wide suc­cess­ful chain of fit­ness clubs that has received numer­ous awards for its busi­ness con­cept since 2005. In order to advance the Mrs.Sporty train­ing con­cept, she set out to find a way to make func­tion­al train­ing high­ly effec­tive and safer.

The devel­op­ment of the inno­v­a­tive Pix­for­mance soft­ware for func­tion­al train­ing was the begin­ning of Pix­for­mance Sports GmbH. Since its found­ing in 2012, the com­pa­ny has been push­ing ahead with dig­i­ti­za­tion in these mar­kets and cur­rent­ly has over 200,000 trainees world­wide – includ­ing Ger­many, Aus­tria, Switzer­land, Japan, the USA, the Benelux coun­tries, Sau­di Ara­bia and Malaysia.
